Venice in the Clouds

It was a lazy day, here in the clouds.  My camera awoke for sunset.

The weather has been cloudy with chance of rain almost every day. Not cooperative enough to get on site painting done but I have taken lots of photos on the sunny moments. Friends are streaming in. Steve and Duncan left and today Maryann, Dr. Ed, Joe, and a friend of Maryann's show up. The restaurants here are not great but the markets are incredible and we have been cooking up a storm. Fresh pasta and quail and prosciutto and cheeses and bread and wine and mushrooms and white asparagus and tasty tomatoes! so we have been having fun. -- M
